Tarot Assembled
Tarot Assembled is inspired by the symbolic language found in the classic Rider Waite Smith Tarot.
Where Tarot Disassembled breaks each Tarot card down into a collection of individual symbols, Tarot Assembled takes it a step further and gives each individual symbol its own voice. (Or in this case, its own card.) Think of Tarot Assembled like an assembly kit. Each card in this 88-card deck shows a symbol traditionally found in the Rider Waite Smith system of Tarot. Individually they have unique meanings and stories to tell, but put them all together and they create the foundation of Tarot.
Each symbol is surrounded by gold holographic foil. In the background behind each symbol is a pattern of other symbols that symbol typically appears with. (Think of them as symbol playmates.) There is also a listing of all the cards in Tarot that symbol traditionally appears on in small text along the border. (Major Arcana cards are listed on the lower left, Minor Arcana cards are listed on the upper right.)
The uses for this deck are only limited by your imagination! Here are a few suggested ways to use this deck:
By itself as an Oracle Deck. Each of these individual symbols has many stories to tell. You can use this deck by itself to give a deep and powerful reading based solely on the meaning of the symbols.
In Tandem with ANY Rider Waite Smith based Tarot deck. Since all of these symbols are derived from the traditional symbology of the Rider Waite Smith system of Tarot, they pair wonderfully in a reading with a Tarot deck to give deeper insights. (Think Clarifier Cards) Obviously, they match the aesthetic of the Tarot Disassembled Deck, so they pair with that deck like peas and carrots! But they also compliment any RWS deck.
By itself for traditional Tarot Reading. That's right! Since these symbols all correlate to the cards they are found on in the RWS Tarot, this deck can be used alone to give an accurate and interesting Tarot reading. I've even made it super easy for you by indicating on each symbol card what Tarot cards that symbol shows up on.
Deeper Dive into Symbol Study. Symbol nerds rejoice! This deck is the PERFECT tool for doing a deeper exploration of the symbology of the RWS Tarot system. Learning the meaning behind these symbols can deepen your understanding of Tarot as a whole.
